Windows and doors
One vetted installer.
Not five phone calls.
Most quote sites sell your details to everyone who will pay for them. We pass your enquiry to a single vetted installer covering your postcode, and when we have not got one, we tell you.

Nineteen styles drawn to scale
The difference
A shorter list, and a list worth something
-
Sold once, not five times
The usual model sells one enquiry to everyone who will pay, which is why one form becomes a fortnight of calls. We sell each enquiry once.
-
We turn work away
No vetted installer in your town means no enquiry taken. It makes the coverage list shorter and it means the list is worth something.
-
Prices with sources on them
Every figure here is a published industry range with the source and the date beside it. We do not install, so we are not the party who can quote you.
How it works
Three steps, with an honest answer at the first
- A
Tell us the postcode
We check it against the districts where a vetted installer actually works. No cover, and we say so on the spot instead of taking your details.
- B
Describe the job
How many windows, which doors, what material, when. Enough for the installer to arrive prepared rather than guessing on the doorstep.
- C
One installer calls
Your details go to a single vetted firm covering your area. They survey, they quote, and your contract is with them. Nobody else gets your number.
Windows
Ten styles, drawn
-
uPVC windows
£400 – £850 fitted
uPVC windows cost £400 to £850 fitted. What separates a good one from a cheap one, what the regulations require, and when uPVC is the wrong choice.
-
Aluminium windows
£600 – £1,250 fitted
Aluminium windows cost £600 to £1,250 fitted. Why the slim sightlines matter, what a thermal break does, and whether the extra over uPVC is worth it.
-
Timber windows
£800 – £1,600 fitted
Timber windows cost £800 to £1,600 fitted. Why modern engineered timber is not the wood you remember, the real maintenance, and when it is compulsory.
-
Casement windows
£400 – £850 fitted
Casement windows are the most common UK style and the cheapest to replace. Side-hung or top-hung, fire escape rules, and flush versus stormproof.
Doors
Nine doors, drawn
-
Front doors
£900 – £2,350 fitted
A new front door costs £700 to £2,800 fitted. Composite, uPVC, aluminium and timber compared, and why the lock matters more than the door.
-
Composite doors
£900 – £2,350 fitted
Composite doors cost £900 to £2,350 fitted. Solid timber core versus foam, what thickness to ask for, and the security specification worth insisting on.
-
uPVC doors
£700 – £1,400 fitted
uPVC doors cost £700 to £1,400 fitted. Where they make sense, why cheap ones drop on their hinges, and the cylinder upgrade worth paying for.
-
Aluminium doors
£1,400 – £2,800 fitted
Aluminium doors cost £1,400 to £2,800 fitted. Why the material handles tall, heavily glazed doors, and how to match it across the house.
Coverage
We only cover what we can actually cover
A town appears here once a vetted installer covers it, and not before. That is why the list is shorter than the three regions. We would rather turn an enquiry away than take it and do nothing useful with it.

What "vetted" has to mean
Calling ourselves TrustedGlazing obliges us to publish what we check and to actually check it. Here is the standard, including the parts not yet in force.
- Registered at Companies House, and still trading
- Public liability insurance, seen and in date
- FENSA, CERTASS or Assure registration, verified
- Recent customers, spoken to rather than quoted
Questions
Asked first, every time
- How many installers will contact me?
- One. We pass your enquiry to a single vetted installer covering your postcode, rather than selling it to several firms who then all ring you.
- Does it cost anything?
- Nothing. There is no charge to you at any point. The installer pays us for the introduction, and that does not change what they quote you.
- Do you install the windows yourselves?
- No. We are an introducer. We do not manufacture, supply or fit anything, and we do not quote. Your contract is directly with the installer we match you to.
- What if you do not cover my area?
- We will tell you straight away rather than taking your details anyway. You can leave an email address if you want to hear when we do cover you, and we will not pass that to anyone.
